About us
Welcome to Honeypot Chats Podcast - where cybersecurity meets culture, creativity, and community. We're not just another tech show — we're on a mission to simplify cybersecurity one listener at a time, spotlighting brilliant African minds making waves in the digital world.

In an industry often dominated by the same voices, we’re flipping the script. Representation matters, and Honeypot Chats is proud to be a platform where African talent—especially women—take center stage. Whether based on the continent or part of the global diaspora, our guests bring fresh perspectives, lived experiences, and expert insights to the cybersecurity conversation.
We started Honeypot Chats after realising a major gap: African cyber awareness and knowledge was underrepresented, under-resourced, and under-celebrated. We’re here to change that—one episode, one story, one empowered listener at a time.
Our Objectives
Champion African excellence in cybersecurity.
Amplify women’s voices in a space where they're still the minority.
Give back by inspiring and mentoring the next generation—especially young women—pursuing careers in cyber.
Share real stories and practical knowledge in a way that’s relatable, accessible, and even fun.
From ethical hacking to digital privacy, from career tips to cyber culture — if it’s about cyber and it’s got an African heartbeat, it belongs here.
Tune in, level up, and let’s build a safer digital future—together.
